Damian’s third running book, Run Forever (Vertebrate Publishing), is out on 9 April and available for pre-order now.

A journalist and author with more than 20 years’ experience of writing, subediting and editing magazines, websites, newspapers and books.

He started in football journalism at FourFourTwo.com, was the editor of a travel magazine in Sydney, and has written about adventures in the great outdoors for numerous titles, including The Guardian, The Telegraph, Lonely Planet, Rough Guides, Runner’s World, Women’s Running, Country Walking, iRunFar.com and many others.

Running and coaching currently occupy him full-time, though he still writes occasional pieces, including a monthly Runner’s World UK column.

He’s written books about football, travel, Walking in the Cotswolds and on the Pennine Way, and about running, including the bestselling In It For The Long Run and award-nominated We Can’t Run Away From This (both Vertebrate Publishing).
